Basics and fine tuning are approached in a variety of ways. Since each dog has its own needs at any particular point in training, activity is tailored for them.
Water work gives the dog a chance to develop and reveal another valuable side of Versatiles. From coaxing a little puppy in for their first swim to advanced duck searches in thick reeds, the water is always included.
Snake avoidance training is encouraged. Clinics are focused on training the dog to avoid the sight, sound and smell of rattle snakes.
Training day rules are followed to insure that each handler and their dog(s) will be safe and receive the maximum benefit from the training day. (See rules.)
